Your Order
We ship every order frozen and packed with care, so when your box arrives, the meat is in exactly the same condition it left our ranch.
Here is how to handle it from the moment you open the lid:
Still Firm and Cold to the Touch
Your meat is frozen solid and safe to go straight into the freezer—no action needed.
Slightly Soft, Very Cold to the Touch
It has begun to thaw, but it is still very cold throughout. It is safe to refreeze or cook within the next 1 to 2 days.*
Fully Thawed and Soft to the Touch
Place in the refrigerator right away and cook within 3 to 5 days. Do not refreeze.
If the meat arrives fully thawed, please contact our team, hello@marbledduckranch.com, as something may have happened during the shipping process.
Frozen Storage and Shelf Life
When kept fully frozen at 0°F or below, your meat will maintain quality for up to 1 year from the pack date.
For the best eating experience, we recommend enjoying cuts within 6 to 8 months, but properly stored meat remains safe up to 12 months if continuously frozen.
Slight texture changes may occur after refreezing, but safety and flavor are not affected.
Thawing Tips
The best thaw is a slow one. Move frozen cuts from the freezer to the refrigerator 24 hours before cooking.
If you are short on time, place the sealed package in a bowl of cold water and change the water every 30 minutes. Never thaw on the counter.
The Sounds That Fill the Ranch
There is always something playing out here. In the kitchen. In the truck. Out in the pasture at the end of the day. We pulled together a playlist that reflects that rhythm. The songs we cook to, work to, and wind down with.
Put it on while you are in the kitchen and bring a little of the ranch into your own home.
Recipes
Here are some of our favorite ways to cook through your box, each one built around the cuts we raise and offer here on the ranch.

A Note From Our Ranch Team,
Around here, meals are not rushed. They are shared.
They happen at the end of long days, around full tables, with stories, second helpings, and something always cooking a little longer than planned. Sitting down for moments that matter. When you cook this, you are part of that, too.
Food should fit into real life, not an idealized version of it. We feed how people live, not just what they eat.
That is why we believe you should know where your meat comes from and who it comes from. Because when food is connected to a place and a person, it carries more than just nutrition. It carries trust and thank you for trusting us with your table.
We would love to see what you are making. Tag us, share your table, or send us your feedback, and we can’t wait to serve you again.
